Mfit is an infrared emission spectroscopy fitting tool written in python language. Mfit has been developed to assists scientists when fitting voigts to a spectral line profile. Until this tool was available, it was done manually in IDL.

Mfit has a graphical interface to select the intensity flux where we want to fit a voigt. The tool tries to automatically adapt it over the profile but we can manually edit the voigt parameters and add multiples voigts.
